The Arab Open University, in partnership with the Saudi Accounting Association, held the International Accounting Day Forum under the slogan “Accounting for the Present, Shaping the Future,” with the participation of a number of experts and specialists in the field of accounting and more than 20 entities from various governmental and private sectors, over the course of two days at the university’s headquarters in Riyadh.
During the forum, a number of sessions related to the profession of accounting and auditing took place with the participation of a number of experts and specialists in the field, and many rich topics were discussed. The forum included a variety of activities aimed at enriching knowledge and enhancing experience for participants and those interested in the field of accounting, as a digital hackathon was held on the sidelines of the forum. Accounting, which aims to develop communication and enhance the spirit of challenge among members of the accounting community with the participation of more than 40 accountants and programmers presenting a number of innovative solutions in the field of accounting, in addition to an exhibition that contained multiple corners for more than 20 entities from various governmental and private establishments and platforms that serve the accounting and auditing sector. During the forum, consulting sessions were also organized that provided free services through an elite group of consultants specialized in the field of accounting and auditing.
